To be in compliance with the HIPPA, each physical must employ enough administrative, physical and technical protections. This is to maintain confidentiality and protect the patient’s electronically Protected Health Information. This health information should be accessible by anyone that the patient or physician didn’t authorize and can be an offense at the cost of the patient. This extends to the organizations that the physicians employ to help them perform their duties as well.
HIPPA demands that every party involved with handling personal information be very careful and maintain stricter privacy policies to protect the interests of the patient. We at V-Etico are HIPPA compliant, and we will make sure that the data we handle are properly secured, both internally and when we share it to external stakeholders.
